Medical Indicators Beefs Up its Executive Management Team

Medical Indicators has announced a series of leadership promotions and key hires as it expands its global footprint and invests in innovation across both clinical and consumer health.

With more than 100 million thermometers supplied annually, Medical Indicators claims to it is recognized for delivering reliable, hygienic, and cost-effective temperature monitoring solutions for healthcare providers and families worldwide. The company’s portfolio includes such brands as Tempa Dot, Traxi-It and NexTemp, offering solutions for both clinical environments and modern, at-home care.

The promotions and hires are as follows:

• Jennifer Herbst has been promoted to vice president of Global Marketing and will expand her role to include Business Development across EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and Emerging Markets. In this role, she will continue to lead global marketing strategy while driving commercial growth and partnerships in key international regions.
• Ryan Moy has been promoted to vice president of Global Supply Chain and Operations, a role that tasks him with overseeing manufacturing, engineering, customer service, and the global supply chain. Moy has been Medical Indicator’s director of Operations for the last four years, during which he orchestrated a rapid scaling up of the company’s manufacturing capabilities. In this new role,  Moy will lead the strategic sourcing of raw materials, manage global logistics, and drive continuous improvement in the firm’s manufacturing operations.
• Steve MacAleese named director of Business Development, EMEA. Based in London, he will focus on accelerating growth across the United Kingdom, including the National Health Service, as well as expanding into new European markets. MacAleese has extensive experience in the medical device and patient monitoring space, including leadership roles at Welch Allyn and Omron, where he helped drive commercial growth across EMEA.
• Alec Phipps rejoins the company as director of Quality, Regulatory and Innovation. He brings to the position deep expertise in quality systems and regulatory compliance across Class I and II medical devices, with experience spanning the full product lifecycle from development through post-market. In this role, he will focus on ensuring product quality and regulatory alignment across global markets while supporting continued innovation.
